Orange Safe Zone
Orange believes that the Metaverse will be the next phase of the internet.
In their first forays into the Metaverse, Orange saw that 20% of users felt cyber-bullied. And that they don’t know where to turn for help.
Therefore, Orange Safe Zone focuses on safety and education of young people. It’s available on most popular online games and virtual worlds, e.g. on Fortnite and Roblox with their young audiences (67% of users under 16 years old, 29% between 9 and 10).
Cyberbullying problems are discussed with the Orange Droid.
4 months after launch 2 million users had already visited the Safe Zone.
Eternal Notre Dame
Notre Dame cathedral and La Défense are two location based VR experiences that Orange offers.
The applications are designed to support the reconstruction of the cathedral after it burned in April 2019.
Users experience historical and educational discoveries. They are supposed to spread the word on the French culture.
